Leonor

"A family's love knows no limits."

The story that unites us

Leonor came into the world on 7th April 2019, in Viatodos, Barcelos. At the moment of birth, she suffered a hypoxic-ischaemic neonatal anoxia — a deprivation of oxygen that caused cerebral palsy.

But Leonor refused to be defeated. With the unconditional love of her family and the support of an entire community, she surprises us every day with her smile that is worth the world.

It was to centralise that support and help other families in similar situations that the Associação Sorriso Leonor e Amigos (ASLA) was born.
